Who Am I?
Hey there! My name is Ian Strauss. I'm an animator, character designer, and illustrator. I graduated from Kutztown University with a Bachelors in Fine Arts specializing in animation. I love cartoons, video games, and cats!
Ever since I was a kid, I was fascinated by animation. Whether it be games, movies, or cartoons, I was enamered by the worlds people create and the stories that they tell. I got into art at a very young age and, as soon as I was able, began teaching myself animation. I grew up watching independent artists on Newgrounds and YouTube who inspired me to pursue my interest as a career.

One of my greatest strengths as an animator is being able to convey personality through a range of pronounced and subtle movements.
Rough Animation
I have a lot of experience working in the rough animation stage and find it rewarding to make the first proper iteration of the animation.
Clean-up
Animation
I work in all stages of animation, including line art and clean-up. I am able to match different line art styles depending on the needs of the project.
